Professor Gordon McVie is senior consultant at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan. Gordon is passionate about the rights of the patient and founded Cancer Intelligence to promote communication and well being between cancer patients, carers, scientists, doctors, and the media.
Susi has public relations and marketing experience across multiplatform media with global brands: Virgin Mobile, Dyson Ltd, Consolidated Communications (clients included: Blockbuster, KLM airlines, Avis rental cars, Cliveden luxury hotels) and Cancer Research UK
Jonathan has completed a Masters in Science, Media and Communication at Cardiff University. He has studied a range of sciences and has experience analysing health related news, working in broadcast media and translating scientific research into clear, concise copy.
Danny has a wealth of experience in the not-for-profit sector, with over 10 years working for leading cancer and educational charities in fundraising and business development. He has recently completed a post graduate certificate in eLearning and has a background in science with a Physics BSc.
Katie has joined Cancer Intelligence as Publishing Manager from the Institute of Physics (IOP) publishing, where she spent over ten years in the production department.
Claire has marketing and editorial experience from working in a number of publishing environments. She completed a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages.
Patricia entered journal publishing as a Publishing Editor at the Royal Society of Chemistry and has experience in journal peer review, production and commissioning. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in the US.
Albert attained a BA in English and Philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and has previously worked in the editorial field, radio production and accounting. He is the Marketing Administrator, managing social media and advertising campaigns, and assisting with editorial and web production.
